Rainbow new range of Verandas (also known as Veranda or Verandah) are a perfect solution to allow you to enjoy your garden come rain or shine. All our Glass Verandas are totally bespoke and designed to your unique requirements to blend in with your existing property, improving your outdoor deck or patio with little effort. Made from the highest quality materials, your new veranda frame will be crafted from top grade aluminium with the roof being constructed of either double glazed glass or polycarbonate panels, offering you maximum design options and flexibility to suit your budget and requirements.

What is a Veranda?

At Rainbow, we consider the Veranda to be an open glass (or polycarbonate) canopy, porch or deck, usually fixed to a wall of your property and supported by columns on the front edge. Verandas are usually constructed from aluminium, giving them strength but allowing them to stand up to the British weather. They can be finished in many colours but typically are finished in black or white. The roof of a veranda can be either made from double glazed Glass or Polycarbonate, allowing a level of protection from the sun but adding strength and protection from the elements also.

However, they are mainly to provide a shelter, usually over a patio or deck, so you can enjoy your outdoor area regardless of the weather, this can be rain or even sheltering from the sun. Verandas are the perfect alternative to a conservatory. Unlike a conservatory, Verandas do not become unbearable in the summer, and with additional lighting and heating options they can also be comfortable during cooler times of the year.

Our Veranda Features

• Fully bespoke Veranda solution – straight lean to, splayed end bars, ‘L’ shapes around corners.
• Traditional aesthetics – post, column covers and brackets, with decorative casting to column base.
• Pad foundation cast beforehand – Veranda has a fixing plate hidden beneath ground level or can be fixed directly onto existing patio (at the discretion on the installer) if paving is bedded on a suitable foundation.
• Gutter system or bar overhang detail, with a variable roof pitch.
• Built in tolerance for post height levelling / fixing.
• Available in either black or white.
• Superior crackle black finish as standard (other colour options and finishes available).
• Option for delivery of post and eaves beam in one complete goal post section (depending on size) for even easier fitting.
• Available with traditional Quantal aluminium roof or contemporary Ultraframe roof with 24mm double glazed units or 25mm polycarbonate.
